So with a number of years experience in this field i thought it pertinent to focus on one of my own ventures Young Cow, focusing primarily on Web Design & Online Marketing Strategy, we’ve worked with many types of businesses focusing on some key fundamentals to success online. Profitability and Return on Investment.

Most companies start out with Online Marketing or the creating of a new website to serve some form of purpose, most tend to have an outdated website or hear they should be trying some form of new marketing technique, from social media to SEO.

My key advice would be to create an internet marketing strategy that focused on a 12- 36 month plan, offering you clear goals to achieve – mapped against your vision for your business online.

With a strategy you have the first steps to achieving success, the second step is to take action, knowing the tactics for each marketing strategy you employ as part of your overall online marketing strategy.

Some of these strategies may include:

  • Blog’s (Create regular and fresh content)
  • Search Engine Optimisation (SEO)

Once you’ve made up you mind in terms of what to use, take action and start achieving results.

Once you start to get results, make sure you test and measure using tools like, Google Analytics, Google Website Optimizer, Alexa and Google Webmaster tools.
